Sincere Thanks to Mr. Bruce (RL) for the new update 5.5.

Here is a report and a demo video for old Poser model's speak test on the new 3DX5.5 and iClone5.5.

The tested Poser model featured a very unique bone structure and morph data, but they worked in the latest iClone environment.

Thank you again for the excellent product,

Hiro

Hi folks,

since I haven't used 3DXChange for a longer period of time, I wonder why there is no possibility to rename my subprops anymore? With the prevoiuos versions of 3DXChange I just had to doubleclick the names, but now nothign happens.

Does anyone how I can rename my subprops in 5.5?

Thanx

Direx

If you're referring to the underlined in my Screenshot - I wasn't aware that they could be Re-named in 3DX (Or, I can't remember Wink ). However, they can be Re-named in iClone .

Anyone-else?

Nope, I just tried it, no renaming - not since 5.4

I would also like to have this feature back again Crying

I went searching for the 3DXchange manual, but found this thread instead.

Since single-source authoring software allows for the generation of both online and PDF formats from a single content source, the absence of a PDF manual is hard to justify. It is inscrutable. The only thing more inscrutable is that anyone would argue against it.

There used to be a PDF manual for 3dX, so there may still be one. Peter (RL) may know.

There is one for iClone, so there is no ill will or malintent on RL's part.

Hi,
I'm new to iClone, and just purchased iClone6, and 3DXchange5. I am finding that there are a lot of things in iClone6 that I cannot export. Does anyone know if there is a way to save iClone6 content as iClone5, so that 3DXchange5 can export it? I don't own iClone5, and I don't think I should have purchase it just to be able to export more items. I know that 3DXchange 5.5 just came out not too long ago, but I really need 3DXchange 6. Can you give me an idea on when that might be available? In the mean time, is it possible to have some of the iClone6 content available as iClone5 (such as 3D Blocks) so that iClone6 customers can have access through 3DXchange.

Thanks, Geeman

Geeman,

Xchange 5.5 and iClone 6 are not compatible. There will be an upgrade to Xchange 5.5 to be compatible with iClone 6 sometime this year. Don't remember the exact time.w00t
