Thanks for the kind words guys! It was a fun little clip to do It started out as just the "Dancer" going to the audition...then I had the wacky idea of giving her a back story, about her being a dancer in a carnival sideshow, kinda gave it a nice touch I guess

Loved it. My favorite bit was the "Connie" part. I love the whole sense of humor behind it, and the detail is fantastic.

Thanks again folks! And "Giz" great to hear from you...missed you of late. Yeah "tparr..." the "Connie" schtick was a bit of an after thought I must confess. Having taught filmmaking workshops through the years I always stressed the importance of the "SCRIPT" and here I am in iClone winging it as far as the story goes. It's soooo backwards and NOT RECOMMENDED by any means! But as I've done and said in the past I start out with something I think will "look cool" and then come up with a story to match the scene I'm rendering...it's so wrong, but it works for me I guess. I know it's a hold-over from my youth when I would take my 8mm movie camera and some of my buddies out to make a "movie" and just make-up a story when we got to a neat location. Mavis' "husky" voice is simply because I'm to cheap or to shy to ask anyone to record a voice for me so I do it myself but I thought it would be funny to make her a bit "rough" so to speak.
