Hola, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong when the character I create (picture based) in the composer gets the body masked and face fitted etc then import back to stage and the head is bigger than the body or has grown bigger?
thanks in advance!

thanks in advance!Aidan, you're not doing anything wrong at all, it's just how CTA works.

Joe, is it really like that? Is there a workaround? I love CTA but the one thing that would make it better than good is a redo of the character composer. thxs!

Duncanduncan (8/10/2012) Joe, is it really like that? Is there a workaround? I love CTA but the one thing that would make it better than good is a redo of the character composer. thxs! The facial mapping is a separate process from the photo fitting, and because I think the facial fitting came directly out of CrazyTalk Pro, it does things a bit differently. As far as I know, there is no workaround,,,

Thanks for getting back to me, I guess since I am not using a vector based character I cannot save the head and body separately or create them separately and put together later right?

Duncanduncan (8/10/2012) Thanks for getting back to me, I guess since I am not using a vector based character I cannot save the head and body separately or create them separately and put together later right? No, you can. Go through the body fitting and when finished, it'll ask if you want to do the head/facial mapping... Just say no, and you'll have a body fitted with a static head. You can at any point initiate the facial fitting, but it will still create the head larger than you need. If you do both, ycan still save each piece individually, but still the head will be larger than you need.

I agree, this is a bit of a pain, and having oversized heads is always going to give your animation a "cartoony" as opposed to a more realistic look, which is something I am after.
A possible workaround (I haven't tried it yet) is to have 2 import images, one for the body and a second one where the head is taken from which has been reduced in scale by say 20%. Cheers, Shanty

Cheers, ShantyIf you resize the head after the photo fitting process, then you'll have more proportional characters. I agree it kinda threw me for a loop the first time it happened, but it's certainly not a show stopper because resizing any of the body parts is fully at your command.
