Are there any 'best practices' for Crazy Talk in terms of preparing an image for lip synching?
Would it be worth taking an image into Photoshop and using tools there to get rid of a smile so the face starts in a more neutral position (I tried to do this with the lip corners up and down in Crazy Talk but didn't have much luck)?
Or are there any other features best corrected in the image before bringing into Crazy Talk?
Thanks

Having the mouth in neutral position (closed, no smile) is definitely a good starting point. You also want the picture to be as straight front and evenly lit as possible, although you can tweak that somewhat. Sometimes you can just mirror half of the picture to get a good result.
