G5 Chameleoncloth, make in less then an 1/2 hour more then 100 different looking characters. In the pack i put 15 characters with different texture, made direct in Iclone. Put any texture or photo on the body for the clothes and borders and walla. Play with tiling and offset for different result, the clothsis allways symmetrically on the cloth.

G5 Chameleoncloth

Please excuse my ignorance but when you say Chameleon Cloth are you referring to their skin or where might one such as myself get Chameleon Cloth to start working with?

Thanks in advance. BigGrin

Hi,

Sorry for not explaining. This is an old concept what i also used on the Xbase serial. You use one of the shown girls for a start. Go to the material and texture settings. Set u offset=0 and tiling=1 and v offset=o and Tiling=1 as start position

Select material and choose on of the clothparts. In this case for the upper body part choose topsuite or armborder. Then choose any picture or texture you want . You will see it will be showing symmetrically on the cloth. If you play with tiling and offset you will see the magic.

In the past the socks were not symmetrically on the sides, this is now corrected with the G5 and the details will show better (using high resolution).here i used low resolution textures.

Tip if you use opacity, bump or other maps , you get the best results wenn you set the offset the same as the diffuse offset. Some times you get nice results wenn you use lace patterns as diffuse map and other lace texture as opacity with different offset. you do not need an external program. You can not use textures with text on it.

See here very old video with the older generation characters (xbase):

and here the new generation: the character shown are partly clhameleoncloth, in the future there will be many moer so you can combine them yourself:

Tip: wenn you start set everyhing to zero it means: delete all material maps and set by affect all material difuse, ambient and specular color to white and opacity ruler to 100.

After you add material you can play with all chanels to get other results.
