Hope you are listening, Visconti and Peter Edwards.
I was going to buy Iclone, but after seeing a myriad of problems people have, and they are repetitive, I will NEVER deal with a company that takes your money, and leaves you out in the cold. Peter Edwards - you must be sick of hiding behind lame excuses which act as " solutions " to peoples' problems. Are you not embaressed to be part of such a SCAM ?? My favorite one is . . " try and contact Support, as they should be able to help . . " Yeah, right.
Which millenium would that be ?
First thing that got UP my nose, was, that we need to be connected to the internet, to be zapped into your database. What if my Graphics machine is seperate to my internet machine ?
To hell with Iclone aXXholes telling me how to organise my computers. And this paranoia continues, with registering add-on packs !! Anyone would think that we were registering the British Crown Jewells or Fort Knox !!
Then there's the myriad of problems regarding add-packs not working, more registration problems, a site that is impossible to surf through, making you go around in circles, problems with purchasing, etc etc. This company is the BIGGEST DISGRACE of all time, in the history of mercantile trading.
So, my good people, Visconti and Peter Edwards-instead of hiding behind your mindless dribble, such as " should be fixed with the next patch ", how about standing up, looking at yourselves in the mirror, and ask yourselves " do I really want to represent such a dis-figured,
un-organised, chaotic, customer-scamming company " ??
I feel sorry for anyone that gets sucked in by your crap, and the money that this company takes from them. Yes, truly a company from HELL.

You're entitled to your opinion which you have very vocally given, however, we don't all feel that way.  I love the program and with the huge upgrade from version 2.5, I'm still too busy looking at all the new features in version 3.0 to have even come across many issues.

For what it's worth, I think Peter Edwards does an excellent job of Moderating and answering queries on the forum, he also has more patience than I could ever hope to have and I'm sure the Reallusion Team are looking at every issue raised and working on it.

Good luck, and I hope you find the software that you are looking for with the same capabilities

I too support Peter Edwards. And indeed, although there have been problems with iC3 - some avoidable it must be admitted - I have always found the support from moderators, fellow posters and Reallusion to be excellent.

To be fair to Reallusion iClone is not the only software that has to be connected to the internet for installation. Yes there has been teething problems for some people mainly their graphic cards. As for the bonus packs I have had nearly all of them and they have installed first time.

I do feel you are being unfair by under estimating the work Peter Edwards gives to this forum. He is most helpful both in technical issues and software tips. Keep up the good work Peter and RL. This is a fantastic product!!!

Unfortuntely forums anywhere are often where people state their problems.  Often those who are happy don't post.  I think your criticisms are awfully harsh for someone who doesn't own the product, therefore hasn't experienced anything first-hand.

This is a good company that does support their product.  Your post serves no purpose and if I was RL, I would delete it.

Hi. I have read a few comments about add on packs on this forum, but I have had no problems at all with the I-Clone 3 software or the additions. My problem is my own lack of skill and understanding, and that can only be overcome with patience and practice (Grrr!) which I know is frustrating at times, but the software, when used properly, can produce amazing results that I would NEVER be able to reproduce otherwise.

While I can understand your irritation at the whole problems of connection and installation, I think you are aiming your anger at the wrong people. It is very unfair to launch a personal rant at both Peter and Visconti, who have been very helpful with problems, both artistic and technical, that I have posted on this forum. If it were not for their advice, I would have given up with the program a long time ago.

I agree with what has been posted. Peter and Visconti do a great job and Reallusion does listen to its customers.

I've been having problems with IC3 since it's release - they still haven't been solved yet, however I'm getting almost one-to-one help from the people at support to get things fixed.

Even if they aren't fixed, and I have to give up on IC3, I will never make a negative comment about a company that is bending over backwards to help a single user solve problems that can not be reproduced in the lab, or by other users.

Hi,

Yes I 'am listening and that is one thing I can assure you of. Reallusion does listen. The opinions of its customers are very important be they good or bad because they all help to make a better product in the end.

To be honest I find it it a little strange that your post contains so much anger when, as you admit yourself, you haven't actually purchased iClone3 yet so you have not experienced any of these issues yourself.

There is no question that iClone3 did have some issues when released but in the two patches that quickly followed most issues have now been eradicated. A third patch is near to release which proves if nothing else that Reallusion is listening to its customers and acting swiftly to resolve any problems.

I hope one day you will be willing to give iClone3 a chance and you may well find that in reality, using iClone3 is a lot more fun and less problematic than you think it is.

Thank you for your feedback.
