Hi kcanache, If you have the Mocap Device Plugin from Reallusion, you don't need to install Brekel OpenNI Kinect Auto Installer. The device plugin installs everything you need. Also, The Kinect sensorshould light up as soon as you connect the USB. I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling but ifno light is appearing on your Kinect sensor, it may be a faulty unit. Prime Sense should also show in your device manager and the drivers should be up to date after install of Mocap Device plugin. Hope this helps. Shy Thanks Shy, The sensor doesn't light up... I'll give another try reinstalling once I get home, if not I'm going to return the device and get a replacement.

Shy I just got the new Kinect Sensor but I cannot make it work either! I checked the Device Manager and the drivers are not getting install. I uninstalled and installed Mocap Driver Plugin several times. (And downloaded it again in case it was corrupted) Here is a snapshot: What's preventing from installing the drivers?

The light can't be a hardware issue, I just bought a brand new kinect like an hour ago so I've tried 2 different ones, and it doesn't light up when plugged into the computer and power. Im running Vista 32 bit. Do I need to upgrade to windows 7? Please help!

I don't think it's hardware ether, mine is brand new also. At this point I'm stumped. C'mon Reallusion, help us out. We need you Peter! Hank
