Just for the heck of it:

compared the same bvh file imported via poser7-bvh importer and the 3dsmax method.

result: the max methods gives good results, while the bvh importer gives so so results (one gets the idea what the character is doing but the animation sucks), no matter how many weeks of tuning the bvh importer profile...

Hi there and here I think I found something great !

I tested this importer setup with Poser 7 and got crap as a result, but who gives up just because of a backlash....  So I tested the DAZ environment ( DAZ Studio 2.3 ) I am running at the moment and I used Victoria v 4.2 and so far I believe that you can get all this for free!!

Then I converted exported BVH files into Iclone and got a smashingly wonderful result, it was spot on  and no more wonky feet and no more twisted hands...  Straight and beautiful with this Poser7 setup.

I strongly recommend anybody who wants Poser animation capability and save money and a no hassle conversion to test this out!!!

Best of luck Gorz
