Thanks, Peter. That's the kind of solution I was hoping for. I tried in Backstage and it didn't work that way. I didn't realize I could do it from the web page.

Official Bug! - i added grass to a terrain, I roll the animation, and the grass suddenly disappears at the exact spot every time. I went to the timeline to see if there was any animation that turned it off, and realized you can't animate anything about grass in the timeline! things i did that might have affected it, -adding grass in middle of scene, not frame 1 -made a part of the model i had added to terrain invisible ( but it was invisible from frame 1 so I doubt this caused it ) -turned off the bounding mesh so the grass would follow the contour of the custom terrain.

I've got another "things disappearing" problem - I loaded a texture that I had edited into the diffuse. It looks fine until I hit F10 to look at the preview. Opacity set to 100% and no opacity map loaded. Screenshot attached. Edit: I got to thinking about it. I pulled Chuck in: default character. F10 made another hollowman. So I figured it must be a setting somewhere. I tested the different shading options (you know the work in progress display settings) and found that it had that effect on everything but full pixel shading. So. I can mess with the puppets all I want with the quick shader/wireframe options, but when I want to test the final image, we need to change the setting before hitting preview.

5.12 update brought up some bad bugs in motion layer ....i move head, arm spaz's out , i move wrist elbow flies into chest. extreme jolts. pretty hard if not impossible to keyframe now. when i move the toe, the head and arm move lol and with the sdk confusion, this update....um..fail - good to know you're human, but ya killed my flow !! wishful feature - Update Rollback!

Wow, same problem here! Weird thing is, I was using it earlier today (with update applied) and it was fine. Close and restart and hour later, motions are totally freaking out! I was hoping to get a video done before tomorrow, too.

hopefully their swat team will have this fixed quick - I just double checked it with a reboot, same thing almost instantly, i had 2 normal adjustments, 3rd adjustment was a head movement that sent the arm flying into the chest. something definitely broken in the edit motion layer with new update.

Any updates on this bug? 3 out of 4 times I start up the program, character animation is completely out-of-whack.

it's been a hit or miss for me, sometimes when it does make those erratic moves, they snap back into place when I let go of the gizmo, other times re-saving the file to be a few frames longer and reloading it works around it. I'm sure it's one of those things thats a delicate balance since they have all the auto correction - restraint features in place. It would be nice to have the update rollback feature though, I can certainly appreciate the amount of detail that must go into balancing this ambitious system, but it would be nice to be able to roll back to a version that we are at least use to until bugs such as these are fixed. less pressure on the programming team and the users, should updates have new bugs.
