What I mean by "REAL" is not a music video or just a doss while I experiment with various aspects of I-Clone as most of my other films have been, but an actual piece with a small storyline and interacting characters.
I have done it in the style of a movie trailer, and while I would love to go on and make the full film, this took me absolutelly ages, so don't hold your breath waiting. However, I have written the book of the story and hopefully, will have it published one day!
The problem I have had is with speech. I have recorded it in "bits" and edited it together, so there are some bizarre and random leaps and dips in volume. My next project is to work out a way to get a uniform soundtrack! But apart from that, I am pretty pleaed with the outcome.
As always, constructive criticism and ideas for improvements will be greatly appreciated.
Hope you enjoy it!

I did enjoy watching this Lionhart. Fine work.
My fledgling Iclone animation skills are nowhere near as advanced as yours yet.
I didn't really find volume variation a major problem on your S/T.
When audio editing your “bits” maybe you were able to compensate for this more successfully than you thought?
It is more difficult to match the “acoustic”.
Perhaps your various characters speeches were recorded ,not just at different times, but in different places? The ear is also very sensitive to these variations.
A basic method to help improve consistency is, whenever you record your voice actors try to use the same room and each time place them at a similar distance from the mic. A rule you may find useful is “Place the actor so that they could touch the mic with the wrist of their extended arm”. You will still need to adjust recording levels for their different voice strengths but this way you get a better acoustic match when trying to edit the various voices together.
If possible record in a “dead” room. One with lots of soft furnishings which help absorb troublesome sound reflections. The bedroom is the “deadest”place in my house. (Please no vulgar jokes this is meant to be serious).
If required your recordings can then be coloured later by adding a little electronic “reverb” , echo, etc. in a sound editor. The free one “Audacity” will allow you to do this as well as “Normalize” the volume levels.
Unfortunately the reverse is not true. It is indeed very difficult to subtract or “deaden down” a recording originally made in a very reverberant acoustic and match them with ones which were not.
Hope this helps you experiment. Good Luck.
