| Hello my name is Darren(daz)im from the UK & im new to this forum & crazy talk,since i purchased CTv4.5 messenenger i have become hopelessy addicted to it.I would like to know how to record my own voice do i need any additional software/hardware to use the voice recorder as i dont seem to able to suss this part of the programne any help will be very much appreciated.

| Hi Daz,
Welcome to the forum.
To record your own voice you just need a microphone. Some computers have built in microphones but most will require one to be plugged in.
Then go to Script mode and select the Sound Recorder button (the red circle) and a box will pop up. You can adjust the sound level at this point and when you are ready, click the Record button and begin speaking.
Once you have recorded your voice click Stop. At this point you can preview your recording by pressing Play or select Ok to finish. Your recording will be ready to be spoken by your Crazytalk character.
That's all there is to it.

| Hello Peter I got my microphone & thanks to your advice i just spent the afternoon recording the whole family&some friends,Ive never seen my 3yr old son laughing so much . Well now he in bed so if you dont mind i have another question to ask ,IS THERE ANY ONLINE TUTION AVAILABLE FOR CRAZY TALK & OTHER RELATED SOFTWARE. many thanks DAZ.! |

Great to hear you have been having fun with Crazytalk. 
You can find a number of tutorials covering various aspects of Crazytalk here:

There are also a number of videos related to Crazytalk on Youtube which can be helpful to see what other users are doing with the product. Just do a search on Crazytalk.
