I love the reflections in iClone Studio and the ability to make things shine and glimmer and sparkle..... all sweet and magical.
But in one scene I wanted a real Mirror dammit. If Thi-Mai is sitting on her dresser in shot in front of the mirror, some shiny cycling reflections going past aren't enough. On distance shots this is fine.
So until Reallusion put in real reflections, just a matter of time I should imagine, here's a video of one I made earlier for the film. Simple principle, works and reflects a beautiful treat so perfectly and all good horror movies should have one.

In fact, the end result is nothing short of gorgeous and wholly convincing with the illusion of it being a real one and once again, with the ability to place (A) A slight pattern to the glass and (B) A subtle reflection for reflectivity on the glass plane so that the camera panning by gets a very good glass feel visually the results are just stunning and I didn't have to do much for this workaround BUT...............
There's ALWAYS a solution. This software hasn't let me down yet.
FIXED!

Has anyone expanded on this theory yet??? I'd like the example. This one creates the illusion within iCLone but there is a superior workaround that doesnt involve mirroring the objects and characters.
