I think that the fact that two characters cannot be seen onscreen at the same time without both sets of lips moving is a serious bug! It's more than a bug, it's the Insect That Ate Cleveland. I can't believe that this "feature" was allowed to get by in 1.0, let alone 2.0. How many times can you cut to a closeup or shoot over characters' shoulders or have voiceovers? Geez. iClone could be the premiere filmmaking tool in the world but for this. Is any thought being given to fixing this, or are people just going to go on doing their little fantasy films?

Have you read the Multiple Voices Tutorial available from the CoolCreators "Document Center"?http://www.coolcreators.org//index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=49&Itemid=51
It may not cover two characters talking at the same time, but it's also possible by skipping one step in the process.

I finally got a chance to try this. The characters move their lips in the right places, but when I import the interviewee's speech, it wipes out the interviewer's speech.
Any hints? Thanks.

There is an email link provided in the text description for that document to get a package sent to you by email link that shows the entire procedure in action. You can always contact me over at http://www.coolclones.com for the package; and if all the steps are followed "exactly" the voices will work for both characters. You probably skipped one of the 3 steps for the voice applications. The steps were painstakingly worked out sequentially to prevent failure when applied, in the order presented. Once you've done it a few times it becomes easier.

Has anyone expanded on the theory and practice of "Two iClone Characters On screem simultaneously AND speaking AND using two seperate wave files for vocal auidio AND both in shot simultaneously AND maybe....... interrupting each other/arguing.....another current impossibility within iClone just to push the iclone boat right out while we're about it?"
I'm just working on some ideas that, in creation, seem to be efficient regarding this. And dead easy. Just wondered if anyone else was creating along these lines also?

| I have to agree I should of read forum before shelling out 199.99 because the product is great but the characters are a pain to interact on same screen as you said. This frustrates me because i have many ideas and iclone 2.5 studio seems limited. I might as well have bought the standard version. and what is with the tech support? Can they respond any slower? i wrote them before i bought the product so i could make a choice. They never got back to me so i purchase the product blindly. No number to call. i need so much help with characters talking and interacting with each other. i intend on creating horror films which means I need a lot of body contact.

| Hi rehdogg I've read several posts you've made looking for help using the software. May I suggest you try a Skype class over on www.coolclones.com with 'Professor' Cricky. It's perfectly suited for all the questions you need answered and will definately get you started. The classes are friendly and informal and Cricky knows iClone inside out, I'm sure you would find it a great help. I see you are already a member at coolclones, so all you need do is create a free Skype account and PM Cricky with your username. iClone is amazing software and you will be 'creating and animating' very quickly. Hope this helps Shy
