Hi.

I bought *all* available products and almost all content via Element 5 two days ago. Then i went to the homepage and registered all serial numbers (that was quite a lot of clicking since everything had a serial number)

HOWEVER... i started the installer and came to that point were i had to enter the serial number. So i clicked "Show Desktop" next to the Windows Start Button to hide all windows and to activate the email program to copy'n'paste the element 5 serial number.

When i tried to activate the iClone Setup it wasn't showing up! That means the installer runs blind in the background after clicking Show Desktop! I consider this as a major flaw. The only option you have is terminating the installer via taskmanager. I did that several times (because i thought that it just might hang and maybe works the 2nd time) NOPE! I finally rebooted my machine and tried that again - same result. So the problem should be easily determined on your side as well. These tries had the effect that i cannot install it now since it says it has been installed more than 5 times. Besides the fact that this is not true (not even one single file was installed) this blocks now my installation. And honestly i'm quite unhappy about that. I payed almost 1000.- USD 3 days ago. And this nasty bug is definitive not a user problem! I reproduced exactly this right now on my other laptop! After that i called the US office for help and they told me to post here in this forum.

Hi,

I have to say I always use the copy and paste method of entering my license numbers and I haven't enountered the problem you mention.

Did you try clicking the Show Desktop button a second time as this brings back the original screen.

Also the use of Alt-Tab switches between different open programs which makes copying and pasting easier.

Sadly if you have now used up all you installs you will need to contact support directly via the support form and explain your situation so they can reset it for you. The link for the support form is below.
