I'm having a very unusual problem and it seems to affects the props - especially my horse props from my Horse & Tach theme package. It happened over and over again these past few days while creating some horse riding scenes. After I have mounted the characters on their respective horses and completed the sence AND after I have saved the project and exported it - I find if I want to go back to that scene to edit the prop to reuse it for another scene or correct a problem, even though the horses are still in the scene (and I can see them) - the modify tab DOES NOT show the props listed! All props from the modify window disappear - even the bulding props! They can be seen in the scene - but no listing for them appears in the modify window. Therefore, I cannot move them, size them, delete them from the scene or use the timeline to get them to move about. What goofy thing is going on here?

Have you tried selecting one of the props by double clicking it. This selects the prop and automatically opens the Prop - Modify panel where you should be able to see it. Let me know how you get on trying that.

I gave that a try - what happens is that no prop is clickable - the character is (but the character is not the problem). I have 2 props in my scene - a horse and a winchester - neither of which shows in the modify window, even if I click them in the viewable screen. This has forced me to re-create every scene instead of simply editing a scene - quite a time waster! Hopefully you can help me find a suitable resolution

This happened to me also in my mermaid project.   In my scene, I had the mermaid and I added two fish props and a bunch of other stuff like the kitchen sink.   I animated (moved) one of the fish to try and make it look like it was swimming around, but in one scene, the fish swam in front of mermaids face at the wrong time from the angle I was capturing.  I went to my prop list and the fish was not there.  It was in my scene all right, but it was as if it somehow became part of the merged prop and I couldn't alter it.  I could not double click on it either.

Never had this problem til now.  I ended up changing the angle of the scene but I thought it odd.

I will notify the iClone Product Manager about this issue. I'll let you know what I find out.

I'm glad to see I'm not alone! Alley has restated it better than I did. It does act like a merged prop that cannot be changed. It forces you then to completely redo the scene (a headache). I hope your team and fix this flaw
