It would be a great thing if you could customize the 3D scenes (landscapes) or create your own. I need some 3D scenes but cannot find them in the packages offered and unfortunately I cannot find a software to do this.
It seems I have to do my movie project with 2D scenes which will be half the fun .

did you see this? Its in the "ICLONE3 what's new (detail features)" thread

• Grow your own LivePlants, Grass and Trees:
o Become a virtual green thumb and grow your own in iClone.
o Explore virtual landscaping with a variety of trees and grass from the library
o Paint and Mow your vegetation to design elaborate gardens or natural scenes.
o Control the wind speed to adjust the swaying effects

is this what you are looking for?

I think this only deals with the vegetation, if you want to make terrains you can use Sketchup and the sandbox feature, its very easy to use. However you will need "exchange 2.0" to import it into ICLONE. Unless they have a straight import feature in IC3. :

I want to make terrains (I think this is the right expression), because I need a desert with hills n the horizon, lots of sand on the ground, blue sky (something that looks like Tatooine :cool. And it should have the 3D effect. And later on I will need a hangar, the interior of a spaceship etc. Lot's of work for me to do, and with a tool that helps me making 3D terrains or rooms it would be much easier. Getting 3D props is not so difficult - there is much (even Star Wars stuff) in Google Warehouse, and for landscape parts like mountains or rocks there is some good software (like Bryce/DAZ studio) to make this.
Maybe I give Sketchup a try this weekend. I thought it would be only for 3D props, but maybe there is more in it.
And maybe the new IClone 3.0 version solves some of my problems.
