iClone can make a decent motion graphic generator like the intros we've seen to movies, dvd menus and programs on the history channel that are used with narration.

Using wall props with mapped iClone generated images and cutout with opacity maps like CloneCloth... iClone can make motion graphics without an expensive application like Adobe After Effects. It is not resource intensive and renders very quickly too. This includes text created in the same manner. Seeing this effect recently on the History Channel made me wonder if iClone could do it and it didn't take much time to get it done. Apply filters to the images and you can get some interesting effects.

Demo Video Here (windows media)

My apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere in the forum.

Great idea. Looks very effective with your filters as well.

Very impressive. So, sorry - I'm a slow learner, but when I learn I learn good. You apply the image to a plane and then you can use opacity maps to create the shape? If so, I must go try this right away, I never knew how to do this. So those effects like you see in Adobe After Effects, when you have people standing in front of a background, but you pass over/by them with the camera could quite possibly be achieved using Iclone??

I just tried this....it seems I must learn in baby steps...thanks Warlord.

Just wanted to let folks know that the FLOOR prop works better than the WALL prop as the wall prop leaves a line across the top even with opacity cutting out what it can.

Just load the floor prop and rotate it to the desired orientation.
