For Months I have persevired with Black Thumbnails when Iclone starts. Sometimes the thumbnails eventually appeared othertimes they didn't. But I just kept on going "in the dark" so to speak. My Subscription to NORTON was due up in the next couple of weeks and I decided not to renew and decided to go with another Anti Virus. So I unistalled NORTON using their Norton Removal Tool and installed my new Anti Virus. I then opened IClone and lo and behold It opened with thumbnails. Was this a fluke ? I opened IClone 5 times in Sucession and everytime now it has opened WITH thumbnails, not to mention that my computer is faster at booting up and closing that it was before ( although its still a very powerful computer anyway). I am not qualified to say whether NORTON was the problem but it seems strange that once it was removed IClone is back to working fine. The main point being My IClone now works great which I am over the moon about...... no more working in the dark for me BigGrin

Hi Shalako,

Thanks for updating this situation. I long ago switched from Norton which offers great Anti Virus protection but at a cost. It is very resource hungry and does impact on performance, although mostly on lower spec machines.

It would seem that Norton was having an effect on iClone for you. One thing for sure with computers is you never stop learning new things. I'm really glad you finally get your icons to display properly. It's long overdue for sure.
