Having trouble figuring out how to add dialogue in IClone. I can see that it is possible to record and add a wav file at the begining of the timeline for a project. But what if I wanted to start the diague say 10 seconds into the animation? Is there a way that I can do that?
Also I tried to start Crazy Talk and the program says that I need to purchase Crazy Talk 4.2. I have already purchased Crazy Talk 5 but it does not seem to notice?
Any ideas?

| Hi Ian, You could simply record 10 seconds of silence before the speech starts and that would solve the problem. I would recommend using an audio editor to help you. There are many out there including the excellent Audacity which is completely free. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ The problem you are having launching Crazytalk is because iClone 2.5 is not compatible with Crazytalk 5. To use the two together right now requires Crazytalk 4. iClone 3.0 when it is released will be compatible with Crazytalk 5.

I would like to raise a toast for Audacity as well, it is a wonderful tool!
One idea is to generate i.e. 1 minute of silence then you can MIX in your dialog where ever you want on that time reference!
I made an entire sound score for a test render I called Freedom Lost, a copy play with the TV series LOST. Naturally a crashed plane and people on the beach, I have some motion that take you from laying down to standing up in some sections if anybody would like to have it...
