I downloaded free bvh files from Animazoo.com. When I used to bvh converter to convert the file an import it into iClone, the character's body is distorted, when I apply the motion. Why does this happen? Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong or not doing. Thanks.

I tried applying the motion to different character and it happened on every character. Thanks in advance for you help.

Welcome to the club.

The BVH converter simply don´t work... even with the scripts that reallusion suply and says at the manual and advertising thats work right.Animazoo, Poser , Motek... SIMPLY DON´T WORK ! and don´t work with no one file that I tried import from others sources.

No convincent answers about the problem from Reallusion and no answer if it will work ok at IClone 3.

I´m very disapointed...

To be honest I've given up trying to convert external motions due to the problems you have described. As much as it's time consuming, using the motion editor is the only way I have found where I can get the motions I require. I only edit when I really, really need to, as I know I'm going to be spending time getting it right.

Find the motion closest to the motion you require and edit it, works for me 80%, with shot editing you can get away with it.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the feedback. This will save me a lot of time. I'll just have to work with what I've got.

It think this requires a custom bvh profile. I have tried it a couple of times and the body is extremely contorted. I could be missing something.
