Where is the RL_Bones_only.max file mentioned in the RL Characters guide. It is not in the IcloneMaxTemplate archive?

Also, can bones be added to non-standard character rigs - for instance bones for tails or long rabbit like ears?

Can non-standard characters have animations attached like live props - I'm thinking basic face morphs here?

Hi,

The dummy.max file contains the RL Bones that you can use with your non-standard characters. If you want your character to work as fully animated figure that you can apply all the motion files to then you will need to stick to the standard RL Bone setup. If you wish to create liveprop figures that will access its animations from the timeline then you can use a custom bone setup.
