Hallo erstmal,
bei meinen ersten Gehversuchen mit Iclone Studio bin ich schnell an den Punkt gelangt,
das der Content nicht ausreichend war Ideen auch umsetzen zu können.
Deswegen hab ich mich erstmal ausgiebig im Internet umgesehen.
Um wirklich unabhängig von den Contentpaketen zu sein ist ein 3D-Modelling Programm unablässig. Je besser man mit ungehen kann desto schneller und erfolgreicher ist das verändern von vorhandenen Objekten. So spart man Zeit und nerven und hat schnell eine eigene Sammlung an Props und Scenes.

after having my first try´s with Iclone, i searched the internet for usefull links, freebie´s and Tools. At least you will need a founded skill in 3D Modelling to do really what you want in Iclone ;o)

Turbosquid sollte man auch auf jeden Fall installieren. Es gibt unheimlich viel Free
Modelle und es hat eine schnelle und gute Oberfläche.
Turbosquid is a must have. A lot of free models and a good Organisation of the Files.

Editieren kann man in den Editoren allerdings nicht wirklich oder ich habe mich zu doof angestellt. Habe allerdings auch nicht viel Zeit damit verbracht.
Ich habe mir nur den BVHacker zum Anschauen einzelner BVH´s und den
BVH Motion Viewer & Editor zum Anschauen mehrerer Animationen gleichzeitig aufgespielt.
Funktionieren die BVH Dateien nicht in diesen 2 Programmen, funktionieren sie auch nicht mit Iclone. Auch nicht mit dem Converter .. so kann man die BVH´s erstmal testen und sortieren.
An den Motions arbeite ich ausschliesslich im Motioneditor von Iclone. Er sieht zwar auf den ersten Blick nicht wirklich nach einem brauchbaren Tool aus. Aber wenn man ihn erstmal versteht, gibt es z.Z. keine bessere Alternative.
Aufgepasst BVH ist nicht immer gleich BVH ... unter anderem arbeitet auch second World mit bvhs und so manches MMorpg (MultiplayerOnlineGame) mit vereinfachten BVH´s die nicht kompatible sind.

I don´t use this Tools to modify or edit the Motions. I use them just to check the BVh´s.
The BVH Motion Viewer & Editor can show more than 1 Motion simultan.
And if these Programs crash when loading a BVH - this Motion will also not be convertable by
Iclone. So its a good check befor starting getting crazy 
I edit Motions only in Iclone MotionEditor. Right at the moment the only tool that really function
Take care .. BVH is not always BVH - many other software use this Format (like Second World
and MMOrpg. These BVH are inkompatible and will cause the crash of the Viewer/Editor.

Eine sehr gute Sammlung mit vielen VideoTutorials zum Thema Digital Media - darunter auch Tutorials für 3D Modelling und Animation, Filmerstellung, Charakterbildung. Das beste was ich bisher im Web gefunden habe und deutschsprachig, eigentlich ein kleiner Schatz *g*
