When I apply a clone cloth (Jack Casual in this instance) the thumbs of my character and a small portion of the pinky finger show through the clone cloth. It doesn't matter what size I make the hands, they still show through.

I know I can cut the opacity so that the clone cloth shirt does not extend past the wrist line, but it seems strange to me that the clone cloth allows for the thumb to come through.

Is there a way of keeping the shirt as long as it is with the default clone cloth length and also keep the thumbs from punching through?

An image is attached to show what I am writing about here.

Hi Michael,

The problem you are encountering is a common one when using a double mesh system. This happens often when using programs like Poser and attaching clothing to figures. CloneCloth does an excellent job of avoiding this problem but sometimes it is unavoidable.

There is no quick fix sadly but you could try using the same method that is used to stop the legs showing through the CloneCloth dresses. Take a look at the link below and see if this can help your problem.

You could also try using a different hand pose and see if that reduces the effect.

Ok, thank you. I'll work with it then.

Thanks for the link. I can use that.
