ok , so what is the latest I can turn in my submission? if I submit at 11:59pm pacific time on that day, will my entry still be good?

Might not be wise to leave it till that late to submit. The competition is being organized by Visconti and he is based in Taiwan which is 15 hours ahead of you.

thanks pete, but im affraid I will not make the deadline anyhow, what started as a little short, turned into an epic story. not to mention im such a detail freak, that i forgot I was modeling for a real time engine, which made me lose a ton of time optimazing the geometry. Anyhow, I dont like to show incomplete work so....i will finish the short no matter how long it is going to take me, and post it here once I feel is good enough to be view by the public.
