Nah i am not interested anymore ... it did that on 3 computers ... 1 on vista 1 on XP pro and one on XP Media Center ... so it's not my fault lol it's just not working. ... I am having a lot of problems with the Real Illusion softs ... First iclone that closes in the face on start up ( and i am above the min requirement ) and now TalkingSlide that can't even output a working code lol ... Kind of weird. I wander if they test there stuff before they try selling it.

I hade big expectations when i found Real Illusion ... but i am not sure i wana invest a few hundreds here anymore ... This is just kind of scary ... I don't wana buy something and get problems like this ... or even worse ... it works well then you update and everything is screwed ... happened to me in the past.

Hi,

I'm really sorry to hear about the problems you are having. Sadly I have no experience of Talking Slide which is why I pointed you to support for help with this straight away.

When it comes to iClone, I have been running it without problems since its release and so have the majority of the large iClone userbase. With so many different configurations of PC's out there it is inevitable that a small minority may encounter some problems as it appears you have. Reallusion is not alone in this. It happens to all major software companies including Microsoft.

I know you are probably feeling very frustrated but why not give Support a try and see if they can help you with the software. The problems you are having may be easily fixed so it would be worth a try.

If there is anything I can help you with just PM me or reply here. I hope you can get these issues resolved soon.

Pete

Yeah i made a support request the 22 April and got no answer yet ... Maybe it's time for them to put in place a better support system.

Anyway try this link http://www.reallusion.com/talkingslide/showcase.asp i am positive you will not be able to make any of those work ... i tried with 3 different pc's and got the same problem with each of them ... Windows vista, Windows XP Pro and Windows Media Center... As soon as i click on one of them a certificat request popup and what ever i do the TalkingSlide is not working at all... I am positive with a few system tweaks the support team will find a way to make my PC make those work even in the certificat is not working ... but that would just be a bad work arround the problem because i can't ask my clients to do the same thing in order to see my presentation lol But anyway i am gona stick to a powerpoint download link for now ...

I guess i don't have the choice to wait after the support for iclone but i am not really impress right now ... Then only 2 stuff I tried doesn’t work + there support takes for ever to respond back. It's been 2 days now and from what I can see there office just closed for the night so its gona be 3 full days without a sine of life tomorrow morning at 10:37.

Hi,

I just tried those Talking Slide previews and was able to get them working after lowering my security settings to allow the ActiveX control to run. With my current security settings the ActiveX control was being blocked but allowing Unsigned ActiveX Controls briefly enabled the install and the previews to run fine afterwards.

I' am using Vista so it may be different for you depending on your security settings and OS. If you do try lowering your security settings make sure to put them back to the original afterwards or you may leave your computer unprotected.

You can take Ivy's advice above and get back to support who may be able to give you a better resolution to this if you continue to have problems.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.

All the best

Pete

Hi,

Please follow the steps below to check your Internet security setting to see if that can make it work.

1) Run IE browser

2) Tools > Internet Options > Security tag

3) Click "Custom Level..." button which under Internet zone

4) Check "Download signed ActiveX controls" and "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" both to Prompt.

If the above setting still can't solve this issue, please provide a screen shot, the version of TalkingSlide, the version of IE...etc to our support team via online support form: http://www.reallusion.com/CustomerSupport/User/QForm.aspx that we can provide more further assisstance immediately for you. Thanks!

Best Regards,
Kelly
