| Are there any details on pricing/upgrades? I have only just discovered iClone (having wasted years struggling with Poser). I want to buy, but do I buy now or wait for the next version?

Pricing has yet to be announced for iClone 3.0. The release is still a couple of months away so if you purchase v2.5 now you will be offered a good discount on upgrading to iClone 3.0 but at present what this will be is not known sadly. More news coming soon.

Hi,
I hope a good discount for all the users of Iclone 2,5 and not only for those who buy the product now !
Is there a possibility for an integration of 3dXchange with Iclone 3 ?
In my opinion there is no reason to have two differents softs.
I think Iclone needs more integration and more interactivity with 3D & 2D programs like : Carrara 6, POSER 7, Maya 2008, Zbrush, Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, Corel Draw X4. This interactivity should enlarge the possibilities for iclone.
It should be a good idea if we could directly load in Iclone an OBJ or a CR2... file without the necessity of a conversion.
The integration with iclone of a special texture studio should be usefull.
Regards

| Hi chadelaud, Thanks for your comments. They are much appreciated. Reallusion do indeed offer the discounts to all iClone 2 users. I would expect the use of 3DXchange to continue in iClone 3.0. 3DXchange has proven an invaluable tool for iClone users so this facility will certainly be required. Although there are no plugins available for the products you mention there is already a good degree of intergration via 3DXchange which enables output from programs like Poser and Carrara to be used quite easily. iClone 3.0 will also add more detailed customization of characters lessening the need for 3rd party software. Stay tuned for more information soon on the exciting new features of iClone 3.0. chadelaud (5/24/2008) Hi,
