Just finished up a big 20 minute iClone project and here are the things that would make iClone a lot better better workflow wise and one bug.
First, a little about my workflow to provide some context. During the course of my filming, many shots evolve from one another. For example, I might have an animated camera timeline establish the first shot and then move from the timeline to a new still camera or locked-to-character camera. This is primarily because the avatars are blocked properly for the next shot; thus avoiding having to position the avatars and any props from scratch again. It also helps me to get in the flow of filming and develop a rhythm/momentum.
Now some issues/feedback!
Lock-to-character bug.
Add 2 characters to a project. Create an animated camera time line. Change camera to lock-to-character. Try and get a new camera angle on the character.
Animated camera default
I often make still camera shots from animated camera shots however when you save the project, it will always open it as an animated camera and you loose your shot. The project should save the still shot and iClone should not assume that just because there is animated camera timeline info still present that that is what I want. I have lost so many shots to this and you never seem to be able to recreate it like the original one you lost. (And if you go to remove the animated camera keyframes, you loose your shot as well - no winning here)
Default animated camera start key frame
If there is no animated camera keyframe info, please use the existing camera position and don't default back to the home position - it makes me have to start all over again. The work around is of course is to wait to frame your shot until after switching to animated camera but sometimes you loose the perfect shot because of this.
Project working directory
20 minutes of production with each scene saved as a project resulted in huge disk drive requirements for my local Shared folders where Reallusion keeps its files. Please let us change to another directory for this within the application preference somehow. I kept having to move these files to a network directory. The external drive not only kept my local hard drive from filling up but enabled me to render scenes on another machine while still working on my main machine.
That's it for now! I love iClone!

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. With the release of iClone 3.0 I think you will see a lot of improvements in the areas you mention.

And it provided exactly by what date this famous iClone 3, because I admit that I seriously began to lose patience
I hope in any case that the possibility of adding another working directory will be allowed in the configuration settings....
I think it is smarter than the content copy tool ... Not everyone necessarily wants to have all these iClone content from 1.0 in the same directory ...

It shouldn't be too much longer before we hear some news about iClone 3.0. Try and hang in there.
