Question: Is there any way to edit texture in liveplants. I want to change for example savannah green

in a safari savannah

I mean a savannah in a dry season... I used 3dxchange 2 in order to convert the liveplants scene to a props...but liveplants are not kept in the prop.
Indeed even, when I converted the liveplants scene into another one via 3dxchange, the new one does not support liveplants...
Someone would have an idea on this topic ?

Thanks!

Hi David,

I don't know if you are aware but there is a dry season savannah scene in the World Wilderness Pack 1. This will probably give the look you are after.

Sadly the liveplant textures themselves are not editable and as you rightly say the liveplants themselves are lost when opening in 3DXchange.

I think the dry savannah from WWP1 is your best answer in this case.

I see, but the landscape is really too dry!
Ideally, it would be to modify the texture of grass to turn yellow.

I hope that the next release of the software will take this aspect into account

No problem, I will have myself
Thanks!!!

I dont have that pack but if you can turn off the trees and the ground inside iclone, you could render just the grass and then change the color in a compositing software. After, you render the full scene with verything(with default colors) and then you superimposed the colored grass layer on top.

good luck
