Hi,

You use the Adjust panel under Character - Modify and the Timeline to make your character walk or run across the screen.

So a simple procedure would be.

Load the character and turn him/her to 270 under Character - Modify.

Apply the Walk Normal motion to the figure.

Open the Timeline and move to say frame 150 on the Timeline.

Under Character - Modify  move the character to the left -300.

A keyframe will be automatically placed on the timeline at frame 150.

Now when you play the animation the figure will briskly walk a small distance to the left. Doing this simple process should give you the idea of how it works. From then on you can make the animations longer and more advanced.

Take a look at the Timeline tutorial for more information on this and other uses for the Timeline.
