| | Peter I agree that Popvideo converter is simple to use. In my own experience of the program, however, the difficulty was providing the required "mask" as a separate file along with the original blue/green screen movie. Both the promo for the product and the "tutorial" give the impression that a video editor with a chromakey facility will provide this. I have found this not always to be the case. Some do and some don't offer this option. It can be a source of much puzzlement and frustration if you own a video editor with chromakey function which doesn't easily allow you to export the mask as a separate file. There has been a recent posting about this on the WidgetCast section of the forum and I responded by posting a link to previous postings I had made about this problem. http://forum.reallusion.com/Topic34140-97-1.aspx Whilst I appreciate that is not RL`s function to provide training support for 3rd party video editor software I do feel they have a responsibility to state clearly the requirements for the successful use of PopVideo Converter. Creating the mask is an important requirement which in my opinion is "glossed over". Perhaps the best solution would be for a future or alternative version of Popvideo Converter to accept a blue/green screen movie and allow the creation of the mask from within the program itself. This would avoid the need to have a "compatible" video editor to be able to create the transparent background effect. Geoff.

| I agree with you thompsongeoff
RL promo site and price of converter suggest a ready and easy to use thing.
Only a notice any video editor to get a mask, but not wich is compatible.
Final> for Popconverter you need additional a expensive videoeditor.
I have not these, therefore for me is the converter not usable.
I think RL should better advert this, or improve the converter.

| Well said. I was almost ready to purchase the Widget and PopVideo combo before I realized I would have to buy yet another video editor. I have three popular editors that support Chroma Key but none render the needed mask file.
I hope Reallusion listens and modifies advertising to reflect the fact that a limited few editors produce the black and while mask file. |

| I may be missing something very basic, but can anyone tell me how to keep a 16:9 imported video in 16:9 export. The import/export settings seem always to force 4:3 - no matter which of the values I change.
