| Thanks Peter, That was the information I was looking for. I'll shop for a video card no less than that series. And while it seems like an unnecessary investment now, I am sure you are correct about the future. The grahpics adapter chart certainly reflects the fact that graphics cards don't remain current for long. Also thanks for the info regarding viewers' requirements. Norm.

BTW - I finally got a reply from Tech Support - Keep in mind that my ticket stated that I had uninstalled and reinstalled the program, and I had applied the patch and that the problem was crashing, not launching - and I did include the DXdiag.txt file. This was clearly stated and this was my reply. Please try to re-install your iClone. 1) Uninstall iClone i) You can go to "Start" > "All programs" > "iClone 2" > "Uninstall iClone 2" Or go to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Add or Remove Programs" > "iClone 2" > "Remove" ii) Go to "C:\Program Files\Reallusion", then delete "iClone" program group
2) Install iClone
Furthermore, please download and install the latest upgrade patch v2.1 from below link: http://file.reallusion.com/00top/iclone21_patch.exe
See if the iClone still can't launch.

Sorry to hear your support reply wasn't very helpful. It would seem Tech Support hadn't fully realised that you had already done those things and gave you a standard procedure follow up. As you are awaiting delivery of a new graphics card you may not need to follow this up any further but if you do I'm sure they will do their upmost to get your problem sorted.

| Well, I've got the new video card. It came at 5:00 today so we rushed right over to have it installed, along with the latest drivers. And....I've hooked everything up, and I opened the "offending scene" that crashes all the time. In fact, I rendered it one more time EARLIER today to see what would happen, and CRASH!! So, I nervously opened the project, and rendered it once, twice, three times, four times - and...... NO CRASH!!!!!! Yeh!!!!! I selected everything BTW - anti aliasing, high quality, etc.
