Reading the info on text to speech it says you can add voices to the text to speech dropdown but I cannot find how to do it anywhere.

Hi, you will have to install voices. After installation, they will be visible in the drop down list. RA has links on the CrazyTalk page to voices you can purchase.

Thx guys. I guess I was not clear on my problem. I downloaded a character file called Miyu that is compatible (suppsosedly) with sapi5 but it does not show up in my dropdown so I was wondering if there is a manual way to add it. If it is supposed to show up in the dropdown automatically then I guess it is not compatible. I want to use a childs voice for text to speech for a project but cant seem to get it done. Thx for taking the time to try and help.

Hi,

You may need to install SAPI4 alongside SAPI5 depending on the voice you want to use. Some do not work with SAPI5 even when they appear to be compatible.

Take a look at these couple of links which tell you where to download SAPI4 and other information related to TTS.
