| | Hello Everyone, Thanks to all for the warm welcome in the "newbie" section, and as expected, I have a slight problem. As I said in my introduction post, I have never used or worked on any 3D animation programme before,so all is new to me.Having read the instructions with iclone 3 pro,I tried to create a 1 minute trial video. When I saved as a WMV,it played with "jagged edges".The book says to ensure "Anti-Aliased" is ticked in Render Quality section, when I tried to tick the box,it would not allow me. Any ideas what is the problem? Thank you for your time Jimmy |

| | Hi Jimmy, What are your computer specifications? Some graphics cards don't support Pixel Shader 3 and also won't support anti-aliasing. This could be the reason. If you post your computer specs including graphics card it will make it easier to see possible causes. Thanks.

| | This particular chipset should allow Pixel Shader 3 support and Anti-Alias. If you go into iClone3 Preferences (hammer icon, top right) try to select Pixel Shader and then also select Anti-Alias. Once you have these selected try outputting your project again. It might be worth trying AVI output too so you can compare the quality. If you are unable to select anti-alias then please make sure that your have the latest graphics drivers installed. You can get these from your hardware manufacturer of from Intel's website. This may well make a difference.

| | Check if there are updated drivers for the chipset at Intel's website. I had a laptop that did not support pixel shading, but after I updated the drivers it did. |

| | Well I downloaded and installed graphics driver updates, changed preferences as suggested, but still problem persists. It will not allow me to select Anti-Alias no m,atter what output mode I select. I only installed iclone on laptop for portability. If this problem cannot be resolved, will install on desktop which has dedicated graphics card, and is more powerful. Thanks for assistance Jimmy |
