| Hello friends,
i am new and from Germany, but i will try to make you understand what i want from you 
I was searching for a software to make 3D People. In another Forum, someone had given me a link to a demo from iclone 3. I think that is nice, the functions of this programm.
Its that real that i can make 3D People how in the Programm Poser?
Okay, the problem is this, that i am a worker and learner in 2D, 3D is just a Hobby. It is not payable for me to buy iClone 3 for much money, so i find i clone 2.5 on ebax for much fewer money.
I want to ask, if this Programm

is circa the same of iclone 3, only a older version, or is this a completely other Programm?
Can i use the Prog from the link (iclone 2.5) to make 3 D People?
I had wanted to phone Reallusion, but there is no phone number in Germany

| | Hi, Since iClone 2.5 was released a couple of years ago, there have been some massive improvements to iClone that you will miss out on with the older version. In fact iClone is now at version 4 not 3 as you mention. Also the version of iClone you see on ebay is the standard version which lacks the advanced animation options of the timeline which is very important unless you just want basic functionality. Why not try the latest version of iClone4 EX which is a totally free version of iClone and includes many of the new features available. This isn't a limited time demo and you can use it for as long as you want. Can i make 3D People with this version and can i use them as a picture file, jpg, gif, png, or other? That and only that is my wish  |

| Okay, but a least question, i hope you are not angry, but the most sites of this are in english and i dont understand all
This Version i clone 4 ex, can i use that really forever, or have i to buy in a few weeks a fullversion?
When i have to buy a full version, can i use iclone 2.5, for making People and get that in pic format? |

okay, now, the Reallusionteam told me, i cannot make 3D models with iclone???
whats that? everyone told me, i can, and now, i can not?

| | Hi, You can use the 3d models in iClone 2.5 However, if you have ordered the standard version, it does not have a Timeline which gives you more control over the all the functions iClone is capable of. With standard version, you can still add stock motions. I'm would think many people who purchase Standard probably upgrade to the Pro version for the added versatility. Hope this helps. Shy

I am very very angry My advice was to try iClone4 EX to see if it met your needs before spending your money. With all versions of iClone you can create custom heads with full control over texture and shape. In iClone 3 and 4 you can change the body shape to create unique custom characters. With CloneCloth (Casual outfit is free) you can design and create your own clothing for your avatars with limitless varieties. You also have the 3D Blocks system so you can create your own 3D models such as buildings, tables, chairs etc. There are also numerous freebie characters and other objects available from this forum as well as other 3rd party sites such as CoolClones and Clones2Go. I think you need to spend a little more time with iClone to get a better understanding of what can be achieved with a little effort and creativity. I think you will be surprised. Hang in there.

accessory, all specifications from iclone 2.5 says, that i can make faces of digital pictures on my computer.
But i cannot use iclone 4 ex, i dont understand that in english, i cannot learn it!
All people says i can make that all with 2.5, but now someone says no?
I am so angry because nobody wants understand me and what i need and want, nobody!
It was only my small question, if i can make this, what i say at the top. No other. But nobody is disposed to answer me correct of THIS answer!

In iClone3 or 4 you can change the figure (shape) too. As iClone can do almost everything you want I'm not sure why you are so angry. I did advise you not to go for iClone 2.5 Standard but you ignored that advice. If you don't understand the english version of iClone4 EX then why not download the German iClone3 EX version and try that. You will then be able to test out all the new features. You can get that Here. Also I'm not sure if you know, but Reallusion does have a German language website and forum which you might like to try.
