Great job, Alley.

My favorite things were the lovely faces, the green hair treatment, and the night sky.

How do I make that night sky?

Thanks for watching Paumanok,

The face was just one I did in Iclone 4 - I find it a bit easier to map faces in Iclone 4 than 3, at least what i tried so far.  The pointy ears were formed with the detail face feature.

The sky was just the "night sky" and I put a sphere in the sky, made it white and added a glow and bump and spec and played with the settings.  I then added fog overall and also the fog particle which I linked to the sphere.  Then I had the camera "look at" the sphere.  I wish I could say it was all planned out carefully, etc. but to be perfectly honest, it just happened by luck.  One thing I do in Iclone is I try a bunch of stuff.  I hate manuals, which I realize is not good - but I like to actually try lots of things.

There are mistakes in this and I'm going to try and fix them, but some scenes took forever to render (like the fairies in circles) and I wanted to get this done.  But even though I watched this several times, it wasn't til it was up on youtube that I noticed two things....there is a rock in the background that suddenly grows - obviously I had an extra transform key somewhere and there is a tree sitting in the air.  With the angle a scene is at when you are adding trees, it seems if you are not careful to check from other angles, you can misjudge where you place things.

Anyhow, it was fun to do and a learning experience.

And I won't tell you how any times Iclone crashed or I got the BSOD.
