Hi,

I am new to iClone and my copy came bundled with a magazine and installed as version 2.1.

When the update ran it told me to download v2.5, i click on the update button on the web page i was taken to but from there there is no option to download v2.5.

The software looks great but i have to say that the website is less impressive. I find all the pop-up pages (usually the default page) very annoying and the site does not seem very intuitive?

If someone could point me to the page where i can update from 2.1 to 2.5 i would be very grateful.

Thanks

Hi Andy,

The normal procedure for upgrading is done from your Premium Members page after registering the software with your serial number.

However I'am not aware of the version that is bundled with the magazine you bought but it may be a SE (special edition) version that can't be upgraded for free. If you take a look in the magazine it may well tell you if this is the case and what the procedure is for upgrading. Quite often magazines have special offers for upgrading to the latest version included as part of the deal.

Can you say which magazine you got iClone from. I'll try and check what version it is that is included.

Hi, andygriff

Welcome to the forum!
To upgrade from 2.1 (SE) to 2.5 (full), you have to register the product in the premium page first.
Since we are not sure which magazine your SE is bundled with, I can't capture the correct screen for you.
Anyway, you can find the upgrade info after you enter your product registration page.

Thanks
Visconti

Like andygriff I got my iclone pack bundled with a magazine, and would like to get upgraded and involved with the community, but where do I find the serial number with the S/W??

(BTW, I am very impressed with this S/W, I think its great. but why do I have to keep going around in circles with the website?)

Hi,

When you installed the software did you have to enter a serial or was no serial needed?

Usually with magazine software, the instructions for entering serials, installing and upgrading to the latest version are all included in the magazine with links provided for registering. Was this information not given?

If you have not been provided with a serial number then I don't think you will be able to register the software and in turn choose upgrade options etc.

It may be that this free version does not come with any form of support but you could try asking via the support form for what the procedure is regarding registration, upgrades etc.
