| Just wanted to post my new Halloween video. I tried to put a little humor in it this time, however some people may think my humor is a little too dark. But what I really wanted to comment on, is that most everybody probably has content you purchased because you thought it looked great but never got around to using in your videos. I know I have.I decided to start adding those I haven't used yet into my next videos. I know that most will never notice these added props in the background of this video, but I added the animated rats and animated insects that I got off of the Clones2Go website. I think they added a nice touch to the video even though as I said not many will even notice them.If your not into Halloween or Horror, you may not care to watch this one.

| That was really good....how did you do all the bloody effects....like he gets shot and the bullet hole shows up on him and the blood spurting, etc.

| | Hey Everyone Thanks for the compliments on the Haloween video, even though it is a dark storyline and a bit violent. Anyway...for anyone curious about the FX in the video, I did the blood spurt effects using my editing program in after effects and using the particle system from Particle Illusion and several different effects from Video Copilot's Action Essentials 2. To get the bullet holes or the stained clothing and skin with blood on the characters effect, I create 2 idential characters in the same pose and on the timeline I have one turned off and the other turned on in the visible tab. That way at the point when the gun goes off, I switch the first character to off and then the bloody character to on in the timeline. The second character I edited in photoshop by adding blood textures on the upper clothing and skin textures. Thanks again. STEVE |
