Hi All,

I've been working on a project with multiple chapters and stages for an animated comic. It works well, and looks great on export- the only problem is the unscripted motion (for character not 'doing' anything) is incredibly fast and 'clicky'- almost like they are in fast forward. The script appears fine on playback prior to export.

At first I tried to amend the issue by creating an empty script for each character, and manually entering all their movements, but with 4 characters, multiple stages and over 20 minutes of presentation, it's really time consuming.

I thought it may have something to do with the framerate, but I can't drop it down from 30fps on WMV export, and I'm unable to export in MP4 at the moment, due to reallusion's server upgrade and not being able to authorise my license.

Ideally I want to export in WMV as I'm putting together an entire presentation with transition effects in windows movie maker.

I purchased the PRO version of Crazytalk 6.1PRO yesterday, and it's absolutely sensation. I followed all the pdf and video tutorials and have a pretty decent presentation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is a Uni assignment, due tomorrow evening, so I have to have it done by then!

Cheers,

Luke

If you stretch your motion out on the timeline it will go slower.

There's some info here that may help:

Check out "Using the Timeline to Edit The Timing of Motions Created with Motion Layer Box"

Hope this helps!

Hi Cathy,

Thanks for your reponse, but that seems to be for iClone

I'm using crazytalk 6.12 pro. It's the unscripted idle model motion for each character betweens scripts.

Ie- Character 1 talks, characters 2,3,4 all look like they are in fast forward with their idle motions and appear 'clicky' with quick jerky head movements and blinking. If it was the entire project, including scripted movements, I would put it down to perhaps an encoding error or hardware issue, but the fact that it is specifically idle movements makes me think it's something in Crazytalk.

I've tried using both AVI and WMV, both with compressed and uncompressed, i've lowered the frame rate on AVI to 25,20 and 15 and no luck.

At first I guessed i'd hit a setting somewhere for the idle motion, but all new projects do the exact same thing.

Help!
