| | Hi, IC4 is a magnificent tool and i am really having fun with it. But i noticied the tuts on the training area are not updated since almost the launch day of IC4. When is Reallusion planning on updating them? I´m very curious on a series of subjects you say will be covered, like HDR & IBL Effects and others. I just wanted to have an idea. Thanks and keep on doing a great job. |

| | And with the above request, I'd like to add that they be actual tutorials, and not promotional nor marketing fluff. But actual tutorials, with step by step instructions for accomplishing certain things. |

| In the name of the defendant... I think it ought to be remembered that in the face of the evolutionary speed of iClone now, the seasoned users; those familiar with many animation and 3D applications and those familiar with iClone since the launch of Version 1 are granted what amounts to an early launch of iClone to deploy the 90% of it's functions in thier work that run OK!The payoff... for this on Reallusions part is that they get a good average feedback very promptly of elements that need refining. The payoff... for their users is that we get to use the "Currently in progress" versions of iClone and the learning curve is fed at a more comfortable pace. The version of iClone you request, and this includes training videos, as they're an integral part of any product anywhere, is one that runs on any computer, anywhere, on any operating system with any hardware on the market leaving time for someone to create the tutorials on the ever changeing elements included. I fear we'd still be using version 2 iClone if this were a Reallusion protocol. I'm also pretty damned sure if you ask someone at www.CoolClones.com (assuming they're still running? ) they would do a tutorial for you by request if they haven't already made every clone cloth tutorial anyway. Also, I believe one of them also did online one to one training by Skype or something. A technology I dont use but good for training. In all, in this corporate forum alone, theres a good bunch of wierd-folk who spend far too long toying with Clone Cloth, Frsky lil Skirts and bobbing lights all in the name of Animation. If you're short something way out diverse and riddiculous, chances are someone built one, or they'll make one for a dollar or two. iClone is always growing. You'll always be learning. If you're new to this you'll be chewing over lessons about v4 way after v.5's out anyway. Don't worry about the late bits, play with the early ones!

| this is why i suggested a wiki, a lot of older members are capable of helping to create tutorials, and have done so already. While many features in iclone 4 are new, some are not...and a wiki can be constantly maintained by everyone ....and the entries by reallusion can have a reallusion logo or something.
there are so many tutorials scattered throughout the net, some of which can help new users on ic4 now ...a wiki would simply keep everything in one place.

| Some great step-by-step tutorials for iClone4 can be found on iClone Certified Training (so far just on facial pupeteering, but more to come).
Also, there is an iClone Wiki here that Anim8tor Cathy graciously maintains WIKI.
