| hi,
I'm using vista P2 family premium and upgraded from CT to CT 6 Pro.
I wanted to save a file I just opened, made NO modif, just clicked "save", same name, same file, same folder, but got message : "error saving project file- pls check your access right to the file, or change the temporary folder path in preferences settings".
I tried that, but still doesn't work. I changed the filename, no difference.
Most of my other files are being able to be saved, some aren't
any idea

| | Hi Alain, Where are you saving the file too? The location of your custom content should be in an unprotected folder, not a system folder like Program Files. Which location did you choose for your custom content to be saved in? It sounds like you are trying to save to a folder you don't have the required permissions. Also are you logged in with Administrator privileges?

| Hi Pete,
as I explained previously I want to save in the same folder where my projects are which is the default one :
1 ) C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\CrazyTalk 6 Custom\Project\ac.ctp (about 5 Mo)
For instance this project ac.ctp , I can open it and save it 20 times, no worries, in the same folder.
2 ) C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Custom\CrazyTalk 6 Custom\Project\french.ctp (about 19 mo)
I can open it, impossible to save in the same folder, even if I just open it and save it straight on, without any modifications.
3) Of couse I run as an admin.
4 ) for instance I open the frog (french humor!) as a new model, I can save it in ths default folder, and open it, and save it again.......I can add scripts ans save it
So it seems to happen on certain files, but why???
