you should thank my father in law, he was the one that asked me if I could relight a scene, to show what a difference it can make to change the mood of a shot. And I thought that was an excellent idea so there it is.
Just like a good script for a story, good lighting is essential for a story as well. It is not only to allow people to see the scene, but also, lighting is a tool to guide the audience how to feel and where you want them to look at on the screen as well. To me :
"lighting is the art of painting with lights".
