Hello, I am a newbie...I was super excited when I got iclone3, however it has all turned to frustration.  I have been running into issue after issue. As of now I am still unable to get my avatar dressed because of issues w/ clone cloth G2 Jacks Overcoat.  I understand that I am new and I am sure it is my own ignorance however MY FRUSTRATION COMES FROM THE LACK OF HELP.  I have read FAQ, until I am blue in the face.  I have watched the tutorials...I have asked questions to the forum and the support center and I have to wait 2 - 3 business days for a response which usually leads to another questions I have to answer and start waiting anothe 2- 3 days to get a response to the questions they are asking me.  I am have technical issues.  Couldn't/ Shouldn't there be a better method of response(online live assistance for instance)  I sit by computer just praying that SOMEONE/ANYONE will respond.  Is anyone out there that can have a conversation in 15 minutes as opposed to 3 days.  My ramblings are a result to my frustration and lack of knowledge.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Hi Lilaquoinina, sorry to here of your frustrations with the 'learning curve' in clothing Jack (and other issues).

I'd have to check your other posts to fully understand the issues you are having and if I could address a few for you but just to show and let you know there is life still in the RL forums and I'm sure all your concerns will be addressed by RL reps or kind hearted members of the community here.

If you use skype / oovoo or msn messenger then there are a few members here who (when time available) can 'walk you through' issues & problems of utilizing the program - so perhaps someone via pm system will get in touch and offer that assistance.

With skype look for user: New Account - Learn.iClone / cool.creators.classroom

With oovoo look for user: Apparition

Good luck, DT

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear you feel disappointed in the help you are receiving. I have been trying to help you in your other thread but it is vital you supply as much information as possible about the problems you are having. The more information supplied about the problem normally means it can be resolved quicker.

Sadly Reallusion doesn't offer a "Live" support service. This forum is here for general help and advice but for technical issues you do need to go through the support service using the Support Form. Most replies don't take 3 working days so hopefully if you have sent a request you will hear something very soon now.

In the meantime feel free to post again in your orginal thread and I will continue to help you as much as possible.

Hi Lila - i have been writing a production diary that walks through a variety of aspects of iclone as i create my movie - you can read the thread here

here's a sample video created by fellow newbie Sophia -just following the instructions i laid out on my thread - a really well done idyllic scene

anyway i will be covering clonecloth texturing soon so you can start with the thread, learn about set design, camera switching etc and then hopefully the clone cloth tutorials will be ready by then

Test01,

At times I share some of that frustration but, 'She's far from dead! The RL Team has put together some Darn Good tutorials for the NEW features of IC4. These are the BEST tutorials I've ever seen from RL. I have no doubt, in time, they will get even better!

The good news is, Blender 2.5 is coming out soon (is it?) and will deflect some of the disatisfaction.

I will stick with iClone for now...  I actually like it and I think it has come a long way since I bought 1.5.

iClone is dying? What? I must have missed the memo.

Please also use the Wiki - there's lots of help there as well.
