| I think I am right in saying if you have registered all your products with RL you can download the exe files again to install. I go back a long time but I remember that you get 5 installs. So removing from your old machine should not be a problem.

| | i still have the exe files .. to install on another computer thats not really what i mean .. ARE you saying if i had to reinstall all my software for any reason say computer failures , new computers, i couldnt install it anymore , and i hope this is not what you mean... There should be no limit to how many times i reinstall the software,, as long as i payed for it ,, and only have it on one computer. Like is there some limit as to 5 times for uninstalling and reinstalling the software , then a person has to contact iclone company and get them to reset all the software including , the ad one packs, etc .. wow |

Note if you installed to a location other than the C: drive just change the letter. Copy the entire folders from the locations below to a flash drive or CD. C:\Program Files\Reallusion\iClone3\Template C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Reallusion (Windows XP) OR C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Reallusion (Windows Vista) Then all you need to do is uninstall iClone from your old computer (while connected to the internet) and then install iClone again onto your new computer. Once this is done copy back all your content to the same locations listed above.

Then all you need to do is uninstall iClone from your old computer (while connected to the internet) and then install iClone again onto your new computer. By being connected to the internet when uninstalling you prevent losing one of your five install possibilities from what I recall. |

| musicaz (9/7/2009) i have Users\Public\Public Documents\Reallusion but its mostly empty but i have add on props , etc that dont even show in there but they work in iclone 3 when i use the program so what is the trick to copy them over to the new computer for vista 64 please cuz they dont show up there ,Just to be clear on this. C:\Program Files\Reallusion\iClone3\Template - is the location of all the iClone default content that comes with it and any Reallusion content packs you may have purchased and installed. C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Reallusion - is the location of your own custom content you may have saved BUT only if you accepted the default location during the install of iClone3. If you chose a different location for your custom content then you weill need to look there for all your files. If you accepted the default installation locations then both of the above folders will contain all your content and by moving them over to your new computer you should have everything you had previously.
