| | Agree. The movie score section is brilliant but I think that is only on an additional disc (soundpool-an extra 6 gigs of instruments and loops) |

| | I use the product from Magix several years now. The Music Maker 14 and 15 is fun and useful. The midi interface will even give your own instruments new life if you have some. Its so easy to use. |

| Can Music Maker 14/15 do orchestral sounding music? I've always been a bit gunshy of buying it without knowing. It would certainly come in handy when I do some of my sci-fi bits.

| | Yeah Magix has real instrument files. As I say there a few diffeent genres on main disc, the movie score is on a soundpool DVD disc which you can buy from them, which has an extra 6 gigs of samples. You can also download further stuff from Catooh, another good site for not just soundfiles but motion stuff which with IC4 will come in useful. I'm tempted to get this to use on Magix http://www.videocopilot.net/products/proscores/ Audacity is also another good programme and that is free, but I think Magix is more user friendly |

| | Audacity is an audio editor and indeed very useful, but it doesn't provide samples itself. So it's different from Magix Music Maker. |
