| I'm not currently a Flash user, but I have heard that Flash has traditionally presented problems in search engine access to content.
I just did a web search and turned up the following info:
Search Engine Optimization Technology Center
I haven't had time to digest this yet.
Would you like to give us your views on making WidgetCast content searchable? |

| Google has been working closely with Adobe to improve its crawler's ability to understand flash content, but I think it's still in the beginning phase. There are too many challenges they need to overcome, e.g. its unlikely for crawlers to read text in images, how can crawlers follow action scripts, how to distinguish the content is real content to viewers or just for SEO, etc.
Currently I would suggest you to focus on web page SEO and don't spend time on Flash SEO until the tech become mature and some real cases can be seen.
Regards,
Alan
