I'm interested in using iclone to generate line drawings. I used to use Poser and I would put a spotlight over head and turn the intensity way up so it washed out all the color. Then I would process it in photo shop. Worked pretty well.

I tried to increase the lighting in iclone on a avatar but i couldn't get the lights bright, spots or other, enough.

I know this is probably a special use.

Any other info about generating line drawings would be appreciated.

Are there any other iclone forums where I can get information?

Thanks

Photoshop (and GIMP) provide the ideal inking filter for properly-prepared images. It's NOT the "Find Edges" command. It's the Photocopy filter, found in the Sketch filters group.

Photoshop will accept a series of bitmapped images generated by iClone. Use Photoshop's Actions to create a Photocopy filter that can be batch processed.

You should probably convert iClone images to grayscale before Photocopying them; you will also have to tinker with the brightness and contrast before Photocopying in order to find the best setting.

This should produce the inklines you want.
