| i would say give me a link where a mainstream priced real time ray tracing product exists
look up john Carmack and see what he says about real time ray tracing
oh any by the way you are comparing $5k product with a $300 product - like lots of us want a ferrarri but we can only afford a toyota so guess which one sells more?
in the meantime, i 'm very happy to be playing with iclone for many more years

| | Excellent point! Talking about comparing high price software to low, what about that one! And why is it that if I create something in Autodesk Max I can only sell it through Reallusion for use in iClone. |

| well if you developed an app for iphone, can you sell it at the apple store without apple's permission/cut ? this type of business model has been around for while
oh you can use sketchup (which is free) to create something and sell as iclone props/sets
does not have to be 3DS

| i suggest you make a business case for blender export to speed up the development -i.e. how many blender users/developers vs 3DS users/developers - if there are enough to outweigh the licensing (if any) or engineering costs to implement (including debug, quality control) then i am sure RL might consider it

| What I like about iClone is that it doesn't have to look like Machinima, if you make an effort. Also, as far as quality and resolution go, where do most people eventually end up showing their movies?
