Dear Folks

The long-anticipated iClone4 is almost here.  After a long year of plan & development on the spec, and of course...the collection of your valuable wishful list in the forum, we can finally present these incredible features inside iClone4.

Please see our official pre-announcement here.

From now on to September, Reallusion will keep update the latest videos from the lab to excite you, as well as the UI capture or screen shot. Stay tuned in our pre-announcement page and forum for everything about 4.0.

Thanks
Visconti

So am I right in thinking that iClone 4 is coming out in September 2009?

I mean we've only had iClone 3 for a year and many updates later we have a stable platform.  Are we going to have to go through all this again?

Does this mean we will also have G4 characters.

ContentDude posted here that there would be no G4 characters.

I do have one other question though - will it run under Windows XP?

the way i look at it - if you have a platform that is stable and lets you make movies then getting iclone 4 is completely optional - however if the features of iclone 4 result in more exciting, realistic movies then there is merit to upgrade

Does this mean we will also have G4 characters.

It has been confirmed that there will not be G4 avatars in iClone4. G3 characters and G3 CloneCloth will remain for the next release.

Yes....after hearing the new features from the show I'm definitely planning on upgrading. The motion paths, texture drag-&-drop, and the gizmo tool sound like it would help with workflow. I just hope there won't be that many bugs or fixes after v4 comes out.
