There are some problems when hair is created in MAX and exported to iClone.

Here you will find the unveiled secrets on Violet, Try and Trinity's hair and why it fits OK while hair created by developers comes offset and scales wrongly!

Watch this tutorial and you will be an instant expert in making hair styles for all kind of iClone avatars. Of course you need 3Dstudio MAX and the proper Reallusion templates to do it!

Here it is:

It's a generous gesture and one that will help many budding developers out there I'm sure. I look forward to seeing what you have coming. Thanks Mike.

BTW, the Box is not needed at all ... You just need an object called "Hair" with a Material called "Hair". That's it.

I've just watched your tutorial Mike.  Excellent.  This is something that has been constantly asked for on the forums since the days of iClone vers 1.0

I created hair using Max a while back but it never looked quite right...you certainly showed me a few things I wasn't aware of so many many thanks for that.

Your professional skills as a teacher were also very apparent from the video, as well as informative, you made it all very interesting indeed.  Your students must love you to bits

Thank you again Mike, a very generous contribution.

Thanks Mike , very interesting complement of the guide.
Nothing replaces an excellent video for a tutorial .

I did not understand the utility of box .

Thanks very much Mike for doing this it is so much easier to follow a video than to try and read the instructions as we all read them differently. Look forward to more video from you enjoyable to listen to as you put in some humor also with regards the box.
