| | I'm curious about the best approach for making a music video... I have a song I want my character to sing, but obviously the lips move during the music as well. So I'm curious as to the best approach for synching the lips to the words only and not the music? |

| Hi Wizaerd,
you have to do that in two separate steps:
1. Play your music only in the background and record your own voice singing along the song (no matter how awful it sounds.. [sorry!]) inside CrazyTalk.
2. Use any video editor you like and upload the finished CT video (with your own voice), but set the video sound to zero!
Then put the music file in the audio track and voila: your hero sings like a pop star !
Hope, that helps !?
At least that's the way i did it:

| | That's a good method, I've used acapellas before but "singing" it yourself allows you to put added emphasis on certain words to help crazytlk generate better mouth movements |

| I dont know why, I've played with all the various settings, but when I import a MP3 or WAV, my characters lips move great. But when I use my microphone, the lips barely move. I have the volume all the way up, which makes for real painful playback... SO why would a microphone result in different or more subdued lip movement than an imported sound?
Also, as a feature request I'd ask that CT could import an audio file but not lip synch to it... or multiple audio tracks, and toggle on/off the track as a source for lip synching... This way it wouldn;t be necessary to attempt recompositing it altogether in another application...
[EDIT]
Actually, it looks like I missed the background audio track... so my above request would seem to be moot...
